Live Charity Auctions

In June 2010, we held a Wine and Tie Auction, our last major fundraising activity before summer. It was a very nice and entertaining evening thanks to the good mood and professionalism of our team of top models. Some of our husbands presented beautiful ties donated by our members. Part of the happy crowd preferred to buy some wines, again thanks to our members' donations. A huge thank you to our audience and their generosity; we managed to raise 1,500 Euro for our general charities fund!

In November 2009 we held an Accessories Auction. Funky, glamorous, colorful elegant, branded and non-branded accessories were all on hand – everything from scarves to hats, sunglasses, belts and jewelry. The bidding was exciting and sometimes ‘intense’ when articles such as a Burberry or Christian Dior scarf were modeled down the catwalk. The lively and fun event resulted in 1,583 Euro being raised. Three Cheers for another successful Auction!!

In June 2009 we held a Handbag Auction, our first such auction and by all counts it was a smashing success!! It was a fun filled morning, sipping on sekt and nibbling on treats – the bidding was characterized by friendly competition all in the name of charity. When all was said and done, 75 handbags were sold and 1,290 Euro was raised for the General Charities Fund.
